Frequently asked questions
Answers about the tools, the numbers and how the site works.
What is Finoraa?
A set of eight small tools for YouTube creators: monetization check, channel ID, data viewer, image tool, tag extractor, money calculator, shadowban checklist and thumbnail downloader. There is nothing to sign up for.
Is Finoraa affiliated with YouTube?
No. Finoraa is independent. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC.
Does anything I paste get stored?
Pasted text is processed in your browser and is not saved. Thumbnail previews load directly from YouTube’s image servers.
Does Finoraa show ads?
Finoraa may show ads from Google AdSense to cover running costs. Ads are labeled and kept apart from the tools.
Can I see another channel’s earnings?
YouTube does not publish them. The Money Calculator estimates revenue from views and typical RPM ranges, so treat the result as a guide.
How accurate is the Money Calculator?
It gives a range, not a promise. RPM changes with audience location, season and ad demand. The RPM in your own YouTube Studio analytics is the best number to use.
Why can’t the tools show views, likes or upload dates?
Those numbers come from YouTube’s servers. The tools here work from what a link or a pasted page already contains.
Is there really a shadowban?
YouTube does not use that term. Reach can drop for many reasons, such as lower click-through, a change of topic or a policy limit. The checklist lists common signs so you know what to look at in YouTube Studio.
Why does a thumbnail show a grey placeholder?
Not every video has a 1280 × 720 file. Open the 640 × 480 size instead.
Does meeting the thresholds mean I will be monetized?
No. YouTube also reviews channels against its policies. The Earn tab in YouTube Studio shows your real status.
